I’m glad that my first ‘real’ news post is to confirm that we have our first expression of interest.  That means we are 10% closer to the enabling this whole adventure.

As mentioned, on the website, this series of tours can only take place if all the places are filled.  The cost of organising and running these adventures is high and the only way to make it viable, and keep the cost low, is to ensure that the expense is spread as much as possible.

No money will be asked for until we have a name ‘pencilled’ in for every seat.  It’s also worth noting that if you book as a ‘couple’ you receive a discount.  Don’t worry you don’t have to be a ‘real’ couple.  Just book together and the discount applies.

I am still fine tuning the itinerary to maximise the photographic experience.  As such I am amending the day six camping location to place us in a stunning area of beauty with a choice of two locations.  One placing us on top of a the main geological fault line and the other means we camp on the banks of a stunning inland lake.  Both are within 40-50 mins walking distance of each other and even closer to the stunning viewpoint of Þingvellir.

Work is also continuing on the vehicle with the 240v, 12v and USB electrical system now installed, in the canopy, to ensure sufficient ‘off grid’ power for charging batteries and laptops etc.  I shall also be adding this facility in the rear passenger space so that each client will have their own dedicated 1240v, 12v and USB charging ‘station’ which they can access whilst travelling.
